Providing timely and highly specialized feeding, swallowing, and developmental support because every family deserves concierge quality care.
Delayed care may impact the health and development of our most vulnerable little ones, especially those with limited oral intake related to dysphagia or aspiration risk.
At Andersen Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing, our goal is to provide families with timely intervention < 2 weeks following a new diagnosis, surgery, or discharge from the hospital or NICU.
Parent education is woven into every visit, empowering families to integrate evidence-based care and developmental techniques into their child’s routine within the comfort of their own home.

Jessica Dam Andersen MS, CCC-SLP, CLC, NTMCT
Jessica is a medical SLP with a clinical focus on patients with feeding and swallowing challenges including those who are premature, medically fragile, high risk, or feeding tube reliant.
Jessica has over 15 years of clinical experience working within the Yale New Haven Health System. She provides care within the inpatient/outpatient settings, as well as the highly specialized NICU and multidisciplinary clinic.
Understanding that establishing safe and efficient feedings is complex, her approach to intervention considers the whole child and whole family. Jessica’s evidence-based approach to care is infant driven and child guided, allowing for moment-by-moment responsiveness to a child’s communication of need. She guides families to recognize their child’s feeding-related behaviors as meaningful communication in order to provide a feeding experience that is safe and nurturing.
Licensed SLP in Connecticut & New York.
She holds additional certifications as a:
Certified Lactation Counselor
